Clinical Research and Development
Responsibilities:
- Provide general administrative support; may provide backup support to higher-level management.
- Manage administrative functions: answering phones, calendar management, scheduling travel, correspondence, couriers, expense reports, and meeting/event planning.
- Create/modify business documents and prepare presentations from source materials.
- Coordinate teleconference and BlackBerry setups; act as liaison for remote access issues.
- Ensure compliance with applicable corporate/divisional policies and procedures (purchasing/requisitions, Corporate Security and Privacy Rules, Branding Guidelines, and Copy Center procedures if applicable).
- Handle confidential or business-sensitive information; interact with high-level executives.
- Coordinate and maintain departmental files in compliance with corporate/government regulations.
- Order business cards and stationery.
- Use Microsoft Office Suite, Delta View, and other business-specific software (including Corporate Travel Web site and employee performance management systems as applicable).
- Coordinate new employee office set-ups and onboarding; may train/coordinate new administrative assistants.
- May support tracking budget expenditures.

Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
- 1+ years previous administrative experience (or equivalent).
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; Delta View; Adobe Acrobat; Visio or OrgPlus; Lotus Notes or Outlook; and understanding of business processes and requirements.
