Responsibilities:
- Provide general administrative support for the department.
- Manage calendar activities, coordinate with different functions, schedule travel.
- Handle correspondence and email; process expense reports.
- Plan meetings/events; create or modify business documents.
- Answer phones; assist with onboarding new employees.
- Act as liaison for remote access issues.
- Ensure compliance with applicable corporate/divisional policies and procedures, including purchasing/requisition procedures, security/privacy rules, branding guidelines, and copy center procedures (if applicable).
- Interact with high-level executives and handle confidential/business-sensitive information.
- Coordinate and maintain departmental files per corporate/government regulations; may track budget expenditures.
- Order business cards and stationery.
- Use Microsoft Office Suite, Delta View and other business-specific software (including Corporate Travel Web site and employee performance management systems, as applicable).
- Coordinate new employee office set-ups; may train/coordinate work for new administrative assistants.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
- 1+ years of previous administrative experience or equivalent.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Delta View, Adobe Acrobat, Visio or OrgPlus, and Lotus Notes or Outlook.
- Understanding of business processes and requirements.
