Adjuvant Tech 1

Role Summary

Adjuvant Tech 1 position based in Omaha, NE at the Phibro Vaccines site. The role involves manufacturing adjuvant products, learning aseptic techniques, and complying with SOPs and regulatory documents. Must operate laboratory equipment, maintain records, work safely, and demonstrate reliability in attendance.

Responsibilities

• Record Keeping and Documentation: Maintain complete and accurate records
• Equipment: Operate colloid mill; disassemble, clean and sanitize equipment; perform measurements with scales and glassware; monitor temperatures; operate autoclave for sterilization
• SOPs: Understand and follow all SOPs; apply proper housekeeping; follow gowning and PPE policies
• Process: Familiarity with production and process flow; proper staging and storage of supplies; learn terminology related to Adjuvant Manufacturing; understand emulsion chemistry/technology; practice proper aseptic technique

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Scientific Discipline and/or five years in a relevant production setting
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret English
• Basic math skills and ability to use metric system
• Basic mechanical skills
• Minimum of one year experience in a laboratory/production environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. to shoulder height
• Working knowledge of Windows-based applications
• Preferred: Bachelor‚Äôs Degree in Scientific Discipline
• Preferred: Experience with colloid milling and emulsions

• Able to satisfactorily complete all safety-related training required to execute job functions
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment
