Role Summary
Join Novartis as an Associate Director, Thought Leader Liaison (TLL) for Radioligand Therapy. The TLL is a customer-facing role within Marketing responsible for engaging Thought Leaders and key influencers, and for curating advocacy and support within the Radioligand Therapy therapeutic area. They contribute to HCP education delivery and gather insights from the Thought Leader community in their geographic area. This role is remote, covers the western half of the US, and requires up to 80% travel.
Responsibilities
- Curate advocacy for the brand and Radioligand Therapy by engaging Thought Leaders and coordinating activities between TLs and cross-functional teams (e.g., Marketing, Peer Education, Medical Affairs), serving as the primary contact between TLs and the organization.
- Educate and align Thought Leaders to strategic imperatives, and drive through brand initiatives; contribute to HCP education through speaker nomination and readiness in collaboration with the Education Delivery Team and Medical Affairs.
- Serve as moderator or faculty for educational activities (e.g., Peer Exchange).
- Identify and help execute educational activities and opportunities (e.g., Product Theaters); gather insights from TLs and triage them to the appropriate function to inform commercial strategy.
- Liaise and coordinate national/regional conferences, state society meetings, and patient advocacy events with a focus on urology-related activities.
- Align across the organization to coordinate TL interactions and deliver a cohesive customer experience during events.
Qualifications
- Required: At least 5 years of experience in Thought Leader/Center of Excellence engagement within the pharmaceutical industry (e.g. Thought Leader Liaison, Account Manager, Medical Science Liaison, regional marketing, medical publications/communications, etc.).
- Required: Ability to travel up to 80% of the time.
- Required: Proven ability to develop productive relationships with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Required: Ability to develop and implement key strategies, as well as the ability to lead, motivate, develop, and influence others.
- Required: Strong analytical skills and presentation skills with the ability to prioritize, negotiate and problem solve.
- Required: Financial/budgetary experience.
- Required: Proven ability to work effectively in a matrixed environment.
- Preferred: Radioligand therapeutic area experience, specific to Urologists.
- Preferred: MBA or advanced degree.
Education
- Bachelorβs degree in related field.
