Role Summary
Join Novartis as an Associate Director, Thought Leader Liaison (TLL) for Radioligand Therapy. The TLL is a customer-facing role within Marketing responsible for engaging and building productive relationships with Thought Leaders, other key influencers, and associated organizations within the Radioligand Therapy therapeutic area. This role curates advocacy and support, contributes to HCP education delivery and effectiveness, and gathers and shares insights from the Thought Leader community within the assigned geographic area.
Location coverage: eastern half of the US with up to 80% travel. The TLL must reside in the East territory; relocation is not provided and only local candidates will be considered. Work hours and travel expectations will be defined by the hiring manager.
Responsibilities
- Curate advocacy for respective brand(s), RLT and/or the organization through personal engagements using approved material, by coordinating engagements between TLs and cross-functional partners (e.g., Marketing, Peer education, Medical Affairs), and by serving as a key point of contact between TLs and the organization.
- Educate and align TLs to Strategic Imperatives while pulling through brand initiatives with Thought Leaders. In partnership with the Education Delivery Team and Medical Affairs, contribute to HCP education by speaker nomination and readiness given knowledge and relationships with TLs.
- Serve as moderator/faculty for educational activities (e.g., Peer Exchange).
- Identify and execute educational activities/opportunities (e.g., Product Theaters); gather observations/insights from TLs and triage them to the appropriate function to inform commercial strategy, tactics and decisions.
- Liaise and coordinate national/regional conferences, state society meetings and patient advocacy events (as appropriate), concentrating on Urology-based events.
- Align across the organization to coordinate TL interactions and deliver a cohesive customer experience during these events.
Qualifications
- Required: At least 5 years of experience in Thought Leader/Center of Excellence engagement within the pharmaceutical industry (e.g., Thought Leader Liaison, Account Manager, Medical Science Liaison, regional marketing, medical publications/communications).
- Required: Proven ability to develop productive relationships with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Required: Ability to develop and implement key strategies, as well as the ability to lead, motivate, develop, and influence others.
- Required: Strong analytical and presentation skills with the ability to prioritize, negotiate and problem solve.
- Required: Financial/budgetary experience.
- Required: Proven ability to work effectively in a matrixed environment.
- Preferred: Radioligand therapeutic area experience, specific to Urologists.
- Preferred: MBA or advanced degree.
Education
- Bachelorβs degree in related field.
