Associate Director of Market Access Strategy (ATTR launch)
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute market access & value strategies for Intelliaβs gene editing therapies in ATTR (US and global).
- Create stakeholder communication plans to convey differentiated value to clinicians, payers, channel partners, and patient advocacy groups; identify evidence gaps/enhancements to support positioning and access.
- Build and lead launch plans and US/global market access execution to ensure site readiness and access across channels.
- Establish reimbursement pathways for first-in-class gene therapies (payer pre-launch engagement and site readiness).
- Use ATTR access/payer landscape insights to refine messaging, positioning, and launch trajectory; assess policy impacts (e.g., IRA, MFN).
- Support pricing and reimbursement strategy (coverage arguments, evidence frameworks, gene therapy valuation models), especially for rare disease.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives across Market Access, HEOR, Brand, Regulatory, and Medical to align on and deliver access goals.
- Support portfolio/pipeline market access work (global access strategy, payer marketing workstreams, analytics, congress engagement, secondary research).
Requirements:
- Proven success in value strategy/market access/strategic communications in a launch setting; ability to deliver compelling value narratives.
- Experience launching first-in-class products in the US, including early payer engagement and market development.
- Experience developing global market access strategies and ex-US payer/reimbursement models.
- Experience implementing US provider site/channel access and reimbursement strategy for site readiness.
- Deep knowledge of payer systems and reimbursement models (incl. US buy-and-bill; value frameworks in rare disease and Medicare).
- Strong analytical/strategic thinking; influential communication skills.
- Advanced degree (MBA, PharmD, PhD, MD) or equivalent preferred.
- 5+ years biopharma experience (gene therapy/gene editing preferred) with 3+ years in market access.
