AD, Data Governance Solutions Lead (3 Openings)

Role: Associate Director, Data Governance Solutions Lead within Strategy, Platforms & Transformation at Novartis, focusing on building enterprise data governance capabilities. Responsibilities: lead key governance functions—KPI governance & councils, governance platforms, and data access & security—by establishing frameworks, policies, and standards; partnering with business and technology stakeholders; managing vendor relationships; and developing reporting metrics. Qualifications: Bachelor's in Business, IS, Data Management, or related; 8+ years in data platform engineering, data governance tooling, or data security, preferably in pharma or life sciences; strong SQL, Snowflake, and experience with governance platforms like Collibra or Alation; familiarity with data lineage, metadata, and compliance regimes (HIPAA, GDPR). High-Value: focus on data environments, enterprise governance, cloud data warehouses, metadata management, and data security within regulated biopharma contexts. Location: onsite in East Hanover, NJ, with 10% domestic/international travel.
