The Position
Responsible for overseeing the Accounts Receivable portfolio by providing financial statement and analysis to determine customers’ credit worthiness. Oversees customer deduction management and reporting, providing insights and opportunities for improvement. Leads daily execution and tracking of the A/R Factoring program, ensures collection of customer invoices, provides project management for department initiatives, and supports continuous development and completion of departmental KPI/metrics.

Essential Functions
- Accounts Receivable:
- Evaluate credit worthiness of new/existing customers; establish credit limits using financial statement analysis, external credit reports, and payment trend analysis
- Investigate, analyze, and resolve customer deductions to keep month-end levels at or below acceptable thresholds
- Make daily credit decisions on referred orders (release/hold based on payment status/credit restrictions and business needs)
- Monitor high-risk accounts to reduce bad debt losses; recommend actions
- Oversee collection of past due invoices
- Review/update A/R collection and deduction policies/procedures to control bad debts and Day Sales Outstanding
- Manage SSC tasks for customer statements and invoice copies
- Oversee daily AR Factoring operations (submission, payment, reconciliation)
- Develop annual cash forecasts for HQ (monthly updates)
- Build external industry relationships and attend professional credit groups; provide management recommendations
- Project Management:
- Lead digitalization and process improvement initiatives for Accounts Receivable and department projects
- Ensure project objectives/outcomes/metrics/timeframes are defined and sustainable
- Coordinate cross-team projects with Finance & Operations
- Transaction Services:
- Manage development and ongoing completion of reporting metrics/KPIs for Transactions Services
- Champion continuous improvement mindset in Finance

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Business/related field (required)
- MBA preferred
- 5+ years pharmaceutical credit & collections and related analytics experience preferred (relevant experience may substitute)
- Strong collaboration, prioritization, independence, analytical/technical proficiency, attention to detail, and communication skills
- Strategic thinking; quantitative analysis; advanced Excel/PowerPoint
- Ability to plan, prioritize, execute, follow up, and anticipate problems/roadblocks
- SARBOX knowledge desirable

Physical Requirements
- ~5% overnight travel

- Base compensation range: $99,600–$184,200; eligible for company bonus; long-term incentive/vehicles depending on level
