Responsibilities:
- Maximize opportunities for the product portfolio in a single-layer territory by developing strategic relationships with hospitals, IDNs, academic institutions, outpatient accounts, long-term care, government accounts, and specialty private practice.
- Advance customers along the sales continuum via on-label presentations, effective questioning/listening, and approved data to gain prescriber commitments.
- Differentiate the Anti-Infective portfolio value proposition across all account levels.
- Solve product and patient flow challenges across Specialty Pharmacy, Specialty Distribution, and Buy & Bill; coordinate stakeholders across departments.
- Create and execute strategic geography business plans; use account data to build account profiles/relationship maps and target key decision-makers.
- Participate in local boards/societies/conventions/HCP meetings as appropriate; ensure all communications are on-label.
- Complete required training and adhere to policies and HCIR credentialing requirements to enter assigned facilities.
- Collaborate cross-functionally (including with MSLs and account leadership) to develop compliant communication strategies and processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorโs in health/sciences/pharmacy/business preferred; or 5+ years relevant industry experience (3+ years in pharma/health/science preferred) with high school diploma/GED.
- Account-based selling experience (hospitals/wound care/infusion) and navigating matrix environments (e.g., IDNs, academics).
- Knowledge of formulary approval; Buy & Bill and specialty pharmacy experience preferred.
- Documented top-tier sales performance; advanced sales skills and ability to communicate complex products simply.
- Business acumen, strong planning/organization, presentation/facilitation, and problem-resolution skills.
- Valid driverโs license; ability to drive and travel to cover territory.
- Satisfy HCIR credentialing requirements (e.g., background/drug screens, immunization, fingerprinting/licenses as applicable).
