Position Overview
The Account Operations Manager drives the successful integration and utilization of Adaptive Biotechnologies’ clonoSEQ Assay into diverse healthcare settings. Leads design and implementation of tailored diagnostic workflows, seamless onboarding, and comprehensive training for clinical teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage institution-specific onboarding requirements; develop customized workflows for account operational and clinical needs.
- Lead virtual or in-person trainings for ordering personnel and diagnostic integration go-live readiness (non-hospital and academic hospital institutions).
- Apply expertise in hematologic disease biology, specimen handling, and MRD testing guidelines.
- Ensure workflows align with standards of care and institutional protocols; support internal/external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with sales and customer operations to communicate effectively with clinicians and teams.
- Partner with sales, field medical, reimbursement, digital health, and customer operations to execute account strategies.
- Liaison for priority internal initiatives requiring customer engagement and feedback.
- Support EMR integration; partner with technical teams and integration targets.
- Help customers leverage embedded decision support tools; coordinate training, integration go-live readiness, and ongoing workflow optimization.
- Provide feedback to internal stakeholders to inform integration strategy.
- Build customer relationships and educate customers on new support offerings.
- Deliver timely insights on prospects/account health; analyze trends and account metrics.
- Train and guide new Account Operations team members; foster collaboration and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s + 7 years or Master’s + 5 years in healthcare operations/customer service/account management or diagnostics/biotech.
- Strong customer/patient focus; demonstrated HIPAA understanding.
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems, LIS platforms, and healthcare infrastructure.
- Experience navigating complex workflows and supporting academic/community/IDN organizations.
- Effective professional communication in cross-functional and customer-facing settings.
- Ability to work in teams and influence in a matrixed organization.
- Strong attention to detail and data entry skills; proactive multitasking.
Preferred
- 2–4 years in a customer-facing commercial role (sales/marketing/customer support) for a regulated healthcare product.
Working Conditions
- West Region; hours align with PST; travel 15–20%.
