Position Overview
Account Operations Manager drives integration and utilization of Adaptive Biotechnologies’ clonoSEQ Assay into healthcare settings. Customer-facing role that designs diagnostic workflows, supports onboarding, provides training, enables EMR integration, and accelerates adoption. Supports the Central Region (hours align with CST).
Responsibilities
- Manage institution-specific onboarding; develop tailored diagnostic workflows.
- Lead virtual/in-person trainings for ordering personnel and go-live readiness.
- Apply knowledge of hematologic disease biology, specimen handling, and MRD testing guidelines.
- Support internal/external stakeholders to align workflows with standards of care and institutional protocols.
- Collaborate with sales and customer operations to communicate effectively with clinicians.
- Partner with sales, field medical, reimbursement, digital health, and customer operations to execute account strategies.
- Support priority internal initiatives via customer engagement and feedback.
- Partner on EMR integration; help customers use embedded decision support; coordinate integrated workflow optimization.
- Build and maintain customer relationships; educate customers on new support offerings.
- Deliver timely insights on prospects/account health; analyze trends and monitor performance metrics.
- Train/mentor Account Operations team members.
Required
- Bachelor’s + 7 years or Master’s + 5 years in healthcare operations, customer service, account management, or diagnostics/biotech.
- Customer/patient focus; demonstrated HIPAA understanding.
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR, LIS platforms, and healthcare infrastructure.
- Experience with complex workflows in academic/community/IDN settings.
- Professional communication; teamwork/matrix influence.
- Attention to detail and strong data entry.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks.
Preferred
- 2–4 years in a customer-facing commercial role for a regulated healthcare product.
