Role Summary
Account Manager - Swine is part of the Sales team based in Teaneck, NJ (Remote). The role drives demand and adds value through consultative and technical selling to key influencers and decision-makers in the US swine industry, selling Phibroβs autogenous vaccine, medicated feed additive, and mineral nutrition portfolio to deliver mutual value while achieving budgeted sales and gross margin and managing the territory budget. This position will be based in the midwestern region of the US swine market.
Responsibilities
- Lead the sales efforts for Phibro product portfolio.
- Provide product support for customers, key influencers, and end users ensuring proper use of Phibro products.
- Must be able to manage all available resources for business growth and retention.
- Provide input to business directors, product director(s), and finance partner for:
- Pricing of products and services to maximize customer value and margin contribution.
- Input on sales support materials needed in the field.
- Report on industry, customer, and competitive trends within assigned area.
- Proactive and consistent use of Phibroβs CRM system.
Qualifications
- B.S. in Animal Science or Ag Business with experience in US Swine industry, or other agriculture related discipline.
- Minimum of 10 years industry experience in sales position requiring portfolio and value selling, product support, and collaborative approach with preferred experience in US swine industry.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of swine health & nutrition industry network including:
- Production & Consulting Veterinarians
- Production & Consulting Nutritionists
- Production Management
- Experience with, or willingness to learn, customer relationship management (CRM) software.
Education
