Account Manager/Specialty Account Manager - TEPEZZA (Ocular) - Tacoma, WA

What You Will Do
- Represent TEPEZZA to physicians and healthcare professionals, establish product sales, and perform total territory account management.
- Provide account management support to accounts within a specific geography in the designated marketplace; act as central account manager to drive product demand and coordinate relevant field teams.
Responsibilities
- Develop territory business plan to achieve/exceed annual sales goals.
- Promote TEPEZZA within approved labeling in a compliant, fair, and ethical manner.
- Address access, pull-through, and reimbursement by coordinating with key stakeholders and matrix team members.
- Build customer relationships and communicate customer needs/goals to internal teams.
- Meet or exceed corporate sales goals; communicate territory activity as directed.
- Drive product demand via education on disease state and product information.
- Provide feedback to sales/business leadership and internal departments on changing environment/results.
- Adhere to compliance policies and applicable guidelines (including PhRMA code).
- Work with patient services and market access teams to achieve business goals.
- Coordinate between accounts and Amgen field teams to support account needs.
- Educate healthcare professionals and office staff on site-of-care options.
- Attend medical congresses and society meetings as needed.
- Manage promotional/operational budget; maximize use of approved resources.
- Complete required company training; perform administrative duties accurately and timely.
- Participate as a contributing member of a high-performance team; perform other requested tasks.
Basic Qualifications (Account Manager โ Level 4)
- Bachelorโs degree + 3 years sales (pharma/biotech/medical device or hospital sales)
OR
- Associate degree + 6 years sales
OR
- High school/GED + 8 years sales
Basic Qualifications (Specialty Account Manager โ Level 5)
- Doctorate + 2 years collective account management/sales/commercial experience
OR
- Masterโs + 6 years collective account management/sales/commercial experience
OR
- Bachelorโs + 8 years collective account management/sales/commercial experience
OR
- Associate degree + 10 years collective account management/sales/commercial experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Buy-and-bill and/or biologic/infusion experience.
- Ophthalmology and/or rare/specialty disease state experience.
- Site-of-care and reimbursement experience.
- Experience with institutions and integrated delivery networks.
- Pharma account management selling experience; ability to coordinate across field teams.
- ~30% travel (may vary); some overnight/weekend commitments.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Benefits (role-specific range and included Total Rewards)
- U.S. annual salary range: Level 4 $154,736โ$183,900; Level 5 $173,255โ$203,801.
