Account Manager/Specialty Account Manager – Tavneos (Territory: Charleston, SC)
What You Will Do
- Represent Tavneos to physicians and healthcare professionals; establish product demand and provide comprehensive account management in a designated territory.
- Educate medical professionals/external stakeholders on disease state awareness and product information to support optimal patient care.
- Drive product utilization; identify and address unique account needs.
Responsibilities
- Develop/execute territory business plan to achieve and exceed sales objectives.
- Promote Tavneos within approved labeling in an ethical, compliant manner.
- Deliver patient-centered disease/product education; act as trusted disease expert.
- Build/manage relationships across the patient care ecosystem (physicians, nurses, office staff, case managers, infusion centers, caregivers).
- Engage diverse care settings (private practices, academic institutions, IDNs, community hospitals, specialty clinics).
- Address patient access, reimbursement, and pull-through via cross-functional collaboration.
- Coordinate internal teams (e.g., MSLs, Market Access, Nurse Educators, TLLs) for integrated solutions.
- Support referral networks/site-of-care pathways for initiation and continuity of care.
- Establish KOL relationships; share field insights/market intelligence.
- Use approved tools/peer education/digital channels; maximize promotional resources and territory budget.
- Represent the company at medical congresses/society meetings/events.
- Complete training/admin tasks in compliance.
Qualifications
Basic (Account Manager–Level 4): Bachelor’s + 3 yrs sales OR Associate + 6 yrs OR HS/GED + 8 yrs.
Basic (Specialty Account Manager–Level 5): Doctorate + 2 yrs OR Master’s + 6 yrs OR Bachelor’s + 8 yrs OR Associate + 10 yrs (collective account management/sales/commercial).
Preferred: Rheumatology/Nephrology or rare/specialty sales; specialty pharmacy; institutional experience; strong clinical/scientific knowledge and ability to interpret clinical data; strategic territory planning; ~30% travel (some overnight/weekend); Microsoft Office; strong communication/interpersonal skills.
Compensation/Benefits (U.S. salary range)
- Level 4: $145,311–$196,597; Level 5: $158,931–$215,025. Total Rewards Plan includes benefits, bonus/incentives, stock-based long-term incentives, time-off, and flexible work where possible.
