Account Manager/Specialty Account Manager - TAVNEOS

What You Will Do
- Represent TAVNEOS to physicians and healthcare professionals, establish product sales, and perform total territory account management.
- Provide account management support to accounts in a defined geography/marketplace; act as central account manager to drive product demand and coordinate field teams to address account needs.

Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a territory business plan to achieve/exceed annual sales goals.
- Promote TAVNEOS within approved labeling in a fair, ethical manner consistent with industry and regulatory guidelines.
- Address access, pull-through, and reimbursement by coordinating with key stakeholders and matrix team members.
- Build customer relationships by understanding customer needs/goals and communicating them to internal teams.
- Meet or exceed corporate sales goals.
- Communicate territory activity accurately and timely as directed by management.
- Drive product demand through education on disease state and product information.
- Provide feedback on changing environment and results to sales/business unit leadership and internal departments.
- Adhere to compliance policies and applicable guidelines (including PhRMA code).
- Work with patient services and market access to achieve overall business goals.
- Coordinate between accounts and relevant Amgen field teams to support account needs.
- Educate healthcare professionals and office staff on site-of-care options.
- Attend medical congresses and society meetings as needed.
- Manage efforts within assigned promotional and operational budget.
- Maximize use of approved resources to achieve territory/account goals.
- Complete company training classes.
- Complete administrative duties accurately and timely.
- Contribute to a high-performance team.
- Perform other assigned tasks/responsibilities.

Basic Qualifications (Account Manager – Level 4)
- Bachelor’s degree + 3 years of sales experience in pharmaceutical/biotech/medical device or hospital sales
OR
- Associate degree + 6 years of sales experience
OR
- High school diploma/GED + 8 years of sales experience

Basic Qualifications (Specialty Account Manager – Level 5)
- Doctorate degree + 2 years of collective account management/sales/commercial experience
OR
- Master’s degree + 6 years of collective account management/sales/commercial experience
OR
- Bachelor’s degree + 8 years of collective account management/sales/commercial experience
OR
- Associate degree + 10 years of collective account management/sales/commercial experience

Preferred Qualifications
- Buy-and-bill experience with documented success and/or biologic/infusion experience (strongly preferred)
- Sales experience in rheumatology and/or nephrology
- Site-of-care and reimbursement experience (strongly preferred)
- Experience with institutions and integrated delivery networks (preferred)
- Pharma account management selling experience; ability to coordinate across field teams
- Approximately 80% travel (may vary by territory), including some overnight/weekend commitments
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Professional, proactive demeanor; strong interpersonal skills; excellent written/verbal communication

Benefits (as described)
- Expected annual salary range: Account Manager (Level 4) $145,311–$196,597; Specialty Account Manager (Level 5) $150,628–$203,790
