What You Will Do
- Represent KRYSTEXXA to physicians and healthcare professionals; establish Biotech/Infusion product sales and perform total territory account management.
- Provide account management support to Rheumatology accounts within a specific geography.
- Develop and execute a territory business plan to achieve/exceed annual sales goals.
- Promote KRYSTEXXA within approved labeling in an ethical and compliant manner.
- Build customer relationships by understanding needs/goals and communicating them internally.
- Serve as a resource on payer policies and reimbursement processes (eligibility, benefits verification, prior authorization, billing/coding/claims, appeals/denials), Medicare/Medicaid rules, and OSHA/HIPAA compliance related to Amgen products.
- Meet/exceed corporate sales goals; communicate territory activity accurately/timely.
- Provide feedback to internal stakeholders; adhere to compliance policies and required training.
- Complete administrative duties; manage promotional/operational budget; maximize use of approved resources.
- Collaborate across divisions; attend medical congresses/society meetings as needed; perform other tasks as requested.

Basic Qualifications (Account Manager – Level 4)
- Bachelor’s + 3 years sales experience in pharma/biotech/medical devices or hospital sales
OR Associate + 6 years
OR High school/GED + 8 years

Basic Qualifications (Specialty Account Manager – Level 5)
- Doctorate + 2 years collective account management/sales/commercial experience
OR Master’s + 6 years
OR Bachelor’s + 8 years
OR Associate + 10 years

Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years Rheumatology sales; buy-and-bill; biologic/biotech sales and reimbursement; Rheumatology experience
- Institutional/IDN experience; team environment partnering with Commercial Ops
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; professional/proactive; strong interpersonal, written/verbal, organizational/analytical/computer skills
- ~20–30% travel (overnight/weekends)
