Account Manager/Specialty Account Manager – TEPEZZA

Responsibilities:
- Represent TEPEZZA to physicians and healthcare professionals; establish product sales and manage total territory accounts.
- Develop and execute a territory business plan to achieve/exceed annual sales goals.
- Promote TEPEZZA within approved labeling in a fair, ethical manner aligned with legal/regulatory guidelines.
- Coordinate stakeholders to address access, pull-through, and reimbursement.
- Build strong customer relationships; understand needs/goals and relay to internal teams.
- Consistently meet/exceed corporate sales goals; communicate territory activity accurately and timely.
- Drive product demand through education on disease state and product information.
- Provide feedback to sales/business leadership and internal departments on changing environment and results.
- Adhere to compliance policies (including PhRMA code).
- Work with patient services and market access teams to achieve business goals.
- Coordinate between accounts and Amgen field teams; educate HCPs and office staff on site-of-care options.
- Attend medical congresses/society meetings as needed.
- Manage efforts within assigned promotional/operational budget; maximize use of approved resources.
- Complete required company training; complete administrative duties accurately and timely.
- Perform other tasks as requested.

Basic Qualifications:
- Account Manager (Level 4): Bachelor’s + 3 years sales (pharma/biotech/medical device or hospital sales) OR Associate + 6 years OR HS/GED + 8 years.
- Specialty Account Manager (Level 5): Doctorate + 2 years account management/sales/commercial OR Master’s + 6 OR Bachelor’s + 8 OR Associate + 10.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Buy-and-bill and/or biologic/infusion experience; Endocrinology/Ophthalmology/rare or specialty disease experience.
- Site-of-care and reimbursement; institutions/IDN experience.
- Pharma account management selling; coordinate across field teams.
- ~80% travel; Microsoft Office proficiency; professional/proactive; strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication.
