Responsibilities:
- Represent KRYSTEXXA to physicians and healthcare professionals; establish product sales and manage total territory accounts.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive territory business plan to achieve/exceed annual sales goals.
- Promote KRYSTEXXA within approved labeling in a fair, ethical manner aligned with legal/regulatory guidelines.
- Address access, pull-through, and reimbursement by coordinating with key stakeholders and matrix team members.
- Build strong customer relationships by understanding customer needs/goals and communicating them to relevant team members.
- Meet or exceed corporate sales goals; communicate territory activity accurately and on time.
- Drive product demand through education on disease state and product information.
- Provide feedback to sales/business unit leadership and internal departments on changing environment and results.
- Adhere to compliance policies and applicable guidelines.
- Coordinate with patient services and market access teams to achieve business goals.
- Coordinate between accounts and relevant Amgen field teams to support a full range of account needs.
- Educate healthcare professionals and office staff on site-of-care options.
- Attend medical congresses and society meetings as needed.
- Manage efforts within assigned promotional and operational budget; maximize use of approved resources.
- Complete all company training classes; complete administrative duties accurately and timely.
- Contribute to a high-performance team; perform other tasks as requested.

Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications (Account Manager – Level 4):
- Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of sales experience in pharma/biotech/medical device or hospital sales
- OR Associate degree and 6 years of sales experience
- OR High school diploma/GED and 8 years of sales experience

Basic Qualifications (Specialty Account Manager – Level 5):
- Doctorate degree and 2 years of collective account management/sales/commercial experience
- OR Master’s degree and 6 years of collective account management/sales/commercial experience
- OR Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of collective account management/sales/commercial experience
- OR Associate degree and 10 years of collective account management/sales/commercial experience

Preferred Qualifications:
- Buy-and-bill experience with documented success and/or biologic/infusion experience strongly preferred
- Nephrology, Ophthalmology, and/or rare/specialty disease state sales experience preferred
- Site-of-care and reimbursement experience strongly preferred
- Experience working with institutions and integrated delivery networks preferred
- Pharma account management selling experience essential; coordinate across field teams
- ~50% travel (may vary by territory), including some overnight/weekend commitments
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; professional/proactive demeanor; strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
