Role Summary
Account Manager in the Pensacola, FL territory responsible for end-to-end program development and clinical success, including procedure sales, support and driving utilization for Auris Surgical Robotics Technologies. Develop and execute business plans for the assigned territory, lead clinical and technical product discussions and demonstrations as part of the sales process, conduct referral education activities, manage post‑sales installation and adoption, and educate physicians and staff on product use to achieve clinical and economic goals and high customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute quarterly business plans which achieve procedure sales and disposable sales revenue targets within the assigned geographical territory.
- Maintain a detailed, frequently updated and strategic business plan for the territory.
- Present realistic sales forecasts to sales management on a consistent basis.
- Work with Field Sales Territory Manager counterparts to maximize Auris Health capital system sales and procedure sales.
- Lead product technical and clinical demonstrations to ensure adoption of Auris Surgical Robotics technologies.
- Execute referral education activities that lead to increased procedure sales.
- Implement post-sales installation, implementation and adoption protocol in collaboration with the sales and service teams to achieve business objectives.
- Support new customers in clinical adoption of Auris Surgical Robotics technologies.
- Assist customers in achieving clinical and economic goals with the new technology and drive higher utilization rates.
- Develop and maintain expert knowledge of all Auris Surgical Robotics products and monitor industry trends to stay ahead of the competition.
Qualifications
- Required: A bachelor’s degree and at least 4 years of relevant Operating Room sales experience (preferred).
- Required: Ability to learn and communicate technical product and clinical knowledge of disease states to physicians and economic buyers.
- Required: Ability to travel extensively up to 75%, including overnight travel within the assigned territory.
- Required: Work in hospital/ASC settings, attending live patient cases as needed and wearing required protective gear.
- Required: Self-starter with autonomy and strong problem-solving skills in high-pressure environments.
- Required: Strong teamwork, ability to share sales strategies with management and peers.
- Required: Receptive to feedback and able to collaborate within a matrix team environment.
- Required: Ability to articulate customer needs to the organization and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Required: Effective high-level and frequent communication with sales management and the broader organization.
- Required: Ability to work in a regulated environment compliant with ISO 13485 and 21 CFR 820.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred).
Additional Requirements
- Field travel within the assigned territory up to 75% of the time, with frequent overnight stays.
- Personal vehicle required for field travel (monthly car allowance provided); company-issued computer and cell phone provided and expensed.
- Physical demands include talking, hearing, standing, walking, typing, lifting and handling lightweight equipment.
