Role Summary
Account Manager for the Northern California territory responsible for end-to-end program development and clinical success, including procedure sales, support, and driving utilization of Auris Surgical Robotics Technologies. Develop and execute business plans, lead clinical and technical product discussions and demonstrations, conduct referral education, manage post-sales installation, and support after-sales adoption and utilization by physicians and staff.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute quarterly business plans to achieve procedure sales and disposable sales revenue targets within the territory.
- Maintain a detailed, strategic business plan for the territory and present realistic sales forecasts to management.
- Collaborate with Field Sales Territory Manager to maximize capital system and procedure sales.
- Lead product technical and clinical demonstrations to drive sales and adoption of Auris Surgical Robotics technologies.
- Execute referral education activities to increase procedure sales.
- Implement post-sales installation and adoption protocols in collaboration with sales and service teams.
- Support new customers in clinical adoption of Auris Surgical Robotics technologies.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and utilization by aligning clinical and economic goals with the technology.
- Maintain expert knowledge of all Auris Surgical Robotics products and stay informed on industry trends to stay competitive.
Qualifications
- Minimum: bachelor's degree and at least 4 years of relevant Operating Room sales experience (preferred).
- Demonstrated ability to learn and communicate technical product and clinical knowledge of disease states to physicians and economic buyers.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively up to 75%, including overnight travel within the territory.
- Experience working in hospital/ASC settings; ability to attend live patient cases and wear protective gear as required.
- Self-starter with autonomy, strong problem-solving in high-pressure environments.
- Team-oriented, open to feedback, and able to collaborate in a matrix environment.
- Ability to articulate customer needs to the organization and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills with management and the broader organization.
- Ability to work in a regulated environment compliant with ISO 13485 and 21 CFR 820.

Additional Requirements
- Field travel in the Northern California territory up to 75% with a valid driver’s license; personal vehicle provided with monthly car allowance.

- Physical demands include talking, standing, walking, typing, lifting lightweight equipment and demonstration devices.
