Responsibilities:
- Develop objectives and implement strategies to achieve sales plan in assigned categories/accounts.
- Collaborate with Account/Region teams and Marketing to deliver category reviews, new product presentations, growth initiatives, and consumer insights.
- Build and sell rolling 6โ12-month promotional calendars using category/product data.
- Execute Price Management activities at assigned accounts; negotiate item pricing to meet price and margin objectives.
- Partner with Pricing and Marketing to incorporate market and competitive intelligence into pricing negotiations.
- Strengthen strategic relationships with Buyers and key internal stakeholders (up to Director level) across complementary departments.
- Serve as the customerโs primary advocate internally; direct cross-functional initiatives to ensure timely development/shipment of new products and promotions.
- Work with Customer Service and Customer Replenishment to develop and execute service strategies to maximize distribution center (DC) and store in-stocks; own forecasting.
- Ensure compliance with Perrigo and customer administrative requirements; align Perrigo systems/resources to customer needs.
Qualifications/Experience:
- Bachelorโs degree in Business, Marketing, or related field and 8+ years professional experience (at least 3 years in Sales) or equivalent combination of education/experience; industry experience required.
- Prior Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) experience in direct selling to customers; strong analytical skills and understanding of the selling process.
- Excellent interpersonal skills; strong oral and written communication.
- Ability to interpret quantitative and qualitative information to develop actionable recommendations.
- Comfortable with tight timelines; manage hundreds of SKUs across multiple categories; strong prioritization in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent judgment, follow-up, attention to detail, and personal accountability.
- Working knowledge of basic computer software; communicate by email, telephone, and in person.
