Position Summary
The Account Manager, Burn Care is responsible for driving the adoption and utilization of NexoBrid and Epicel within an assigned territory. Quota-carrying sales role accountable for achieving or exceeding territory sales objectives while delivering a high-quality customer experience and maintaining patient welfare as the highest priority.
Geography
Southern California (San Diego, Orange County, LA, Fresno)
Responsibilities
- Achieve/exceed assigned territory sales goals and performance objectives.
- Develop and execute strategic territory business plans; identify and prioritize high-value accounts and opportunities.
- Use customer segmentation and account planning to drive product adoption and utilization.
- Monitor territory performance and market dynamics; adjust plans to maximize results.
- Build relationships with clinical, administrative, and economic stakeholders in burn centers/hospital systems.
- Navigate procurement, formulary, and product-access processes; present to VAC, Pharmacy & Therapeutics (P&T) committees, and other stakeholders as appropriate.
- Partner with Market Access and Reimbursement teams on access, coverage, billing, coding, and payment needs.
- Provide approved product education and coordinate clinical support; partner with Burn Clinical Specialists and develop clinical champions.
- Maintain knowledge of products/materials/clinical and competitive environment; manage accurate account/opportunity/activity data.
Qualifications (Required/Preferred)
- Bachelorβs required; Masterβs preferred.
- 3β5+ years of hospital-based specialty healthcare sales (ideal: burn care/wound care/surgery).
- Track record of achieving/exceeding sales goals in hospital/OR settings.
- Ability to manage complex territories and stakeholders; strong hospital/surgical/sterile field knowledge.
- Understanding of reimbursement (billing, coding, coverage, payment) and hospital procurement/VAC/P&T processes.
- Strong business acumen, communication/presentation/negotiation skills, independence, and adaptability.
- Travel: regular daily travel; occasional overnight/weekend.
Compensation
Salary range: $160,000β$200,000 annually. Bonus/incentive pay, equity, and benefits may be provided.
