Position Summary
- Account Manager, US Petcare Division. Field-based; utilize solution selling, territory management, and business planning to maximize sales performance in assigned geography. Candidate should live within the territory.

Position Responsibilities
- Meet overall sales objectives (quota) and key growth product goals via demand generation in targeted geography.
- Launch new products/service offerings and generate new equipment leads.
- Consistently demonstrate solution selling.
- Build/demonstrate technical knowledge and veterinary practice expertise; maintain and grow relevance and access by servicing targeted hospitals/personnel.
- Interact with customers in line with Zoetis promotional guidelines.
- Develop and execute a Territory Business Plan/Resource Allocation; implement resources and maximize ROI.
- Meet field activity expectations (sales call activity) and invest in medical education programs.
- Develop and execute an account and veterinarian call-cycle to meet reach/frequency expectations.
- Collaborate with colleagues and meet expectations around integrity/compliance, work ethic, communication, administration, teamwork, and role responsibilities.

Education and Experience / Skills
- BS/BA required.
- 3–10 years of documented consultative sales experience.
- Ability to use analytics/insights, manage expense budgets, work independently and in a team, resolve issues early, and accept feedback.
- Animal Health experience and knowledge of small animal veterinary medicine.
- Strong verbal/written/presentation/interpersonal/communication skills; good judgment.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and ability to learn company systems.

Physical Requirements
- Ability/willingness to travel and work some evenings as required.
