Position Summary
- Account Manager, US Petcare Division (field-based). Execute strategy to maximize sales performance in assigned geography using solution selling, territory management, and business planning. Travel required and some evening work for educational programs. Candidate should live within the territory.

Position Responsibilities
- Meet overall sales objectives (quota) and grow key products via demand generation.
- Launch new products/service offerings and generate new equipment leads.
- Consistently demonstrate solution selling.
- Build and apply technical knowledge, veterinary practice expertise, and verbal fluency.
- Develop relationships with and service targeted hospitals/personnel to maintain and grow relevance.
- Interact with customers per Zoetis promotional guidelines.
- Develop and execute Territory Business Plan/Resource Allocation to maximize ROI.
- Meet field activity expectations (sales calls and investment in medical education).
- Execute account/veterinarian call-cycle to meet reach/frequency expectations.
- Collaborate with colleagues with integrity/compliance, strong work ethic, communication, administrative excellence, and teamwork.

Education and Experience / Qualifications
- BS/BA required.
- 3–10 years consultative sales experience.
- Animal health experience; knowledge of small animal veterinary medicine.
- Analytical skills, follow-through, attention to detail; manage expense budgets; self-starter.

Technical Skills
- Strong communication/presentation/interpersonal skills.
- Good judgment and fair decision-making.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint); ability to learn Zoetis systems.

Compensation & Benefits (as stated)
- Base salary range: $69,360–$139,265.
- Benefits: healthcare/insurance day one, 401(k) with match and profit-sharing, and 4 weeks vacation.

Physical Requirements
- Ability and willingness to travel and work some evenings.
