Role Summary
The Account Executive executes the daily account activities for assigned brand(s) under the supervision of the senior account lead. This role focuses on the tactical implementation of the strategic plan outlined by the senior account lead and the client, ensuring client satisfaction through quality work and responsiveness to meet business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Partner with internal teams to create client deliverables from initiation to completion, ensuring timely, budget-friendly, and strategically aligned completion
- Accurately assess situations and proactively make recommendations consistent with the clients' overall marketing objectives and needs
- Ensure all deliverables are ready for review prior to the formal submission in Veeva and review by Medical, Regulatory and Legal partners
- Manage the weekly review Medical/Legal/Regulatory meeting agenda and support client and senior account leads with meeting details and capturing notes/action items as needed
- Day-to-day point of contact for the client on tactical development and lead support for weekly client status meetings
- Mentor account coordinators and work with senior account lead to foster their development
- Create, review and maintain job estimates and manage the overall brand budgets—reporting updates regularly to the senior account lead and client, while adhering to financial and procurement protocols
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with diverse personalities and be adaptable when faced with challenges
- Support the internal agency team and client in preparation for major meetings or programs/events with regular timeline/milestone tracking, logistics and resource development
Qualifications
- Experience: 3+ years’ pharmaceutical advertising agency experience, proven track record of successful client service
- Education: Bachelor’s degree; or equivalent business experience within the pharmaceutical or related industry
- Software: Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) and relevant review platforms, such as Veeva
- Skills: Proficiency in impactful written and verbal communication required, solid grasp of science and healthcare, thorough understanding of promotional review procedures, adept multitasking and prioritization in fast-paced settings, meticulous attention to detail, and persistent follow-up capabilities
