Position Summary:
Access & Reimbursement Manager (ARM) is a subject matter expert for FILSPARI (sparsentan), working remotely within assigned geography to provide education and case-specific support to HCPs and the sales force; provides patient access/reimbursement support and navigates insurance/access barriers.
Responsibilities:
- Lead patient access & reimbursement in territory; manage FILSPARI onboarding (PSF submission through REMS enrollment to reimbursement).
- Educate providers/practices on PSF completion, REMS enrollment, prior authorization/appeals, and medical policy steps for reimbursement.
- Monitor onboarding cases; proactively identify/solve complex access issues.
- Address missing PSF/REMS details by coordinating with Hub/REMS Administrator partners.
- Resolve access issues (prior auth, appeals, denials, letters of medical necessity, REMS) and educate to prevent future reimbursement hurdles.
- Partner with reimbursement stakeholders (specialty pharmacy, sales, HCP offices, REMS administrator) to move patients through reimbursement.
- Provide sales communication: case status updates, ride-alongs, daily logging in standardized platform, and weekly case status meetings.
- Identify regional reimbursement access trends; develop quarterly business plans; educate internal/external stakeholders.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelorβs degree required (or equivalent education/experience).
- 5+ years in pharmaceutical/health industry with Hubs/payers/HCPs (or related).
- 3+ years reimbursement/access/case management.
- Specialty pharmaceutical/nephrology/rare disease/REMs experience preferred.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of commercial and government reimbursement (incl. Medicare Part D, VA); PSF/REMS and benefit verification/prior auth/appeals/denials/letters of medical necessity.
- Relationship building; strong communication; computer skills (e.g., Excel/PowerPoint).
- Field-based; live in territory or immediate adjacency; travel up to 35%; face-to-face and credentialing onsite as required.
