Position Summary:
The Access & Reimbursement Manager (ARM) is a subject matter expert on access and reimbursement for FILSPARI (Sparsentan), working remotely within their assigned geography to provide education and case-specific support to internal and external stakeholders, including healthcare providers (HCPs) and the sales force. Extensive expertise navigating insurance and access barriers is required. Preference for candidates residing near Kansas City, MO; Des Moines, IA; or Cedar Rapids/Iowa City, IA; candidates anywhere in the territory may be considered.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as key contact for patient access and reimbursement in assigned geography.
- Own FILSPARI onboarding expertise from Patient Start Form (PSF) submission through REMS enrollment to reimbursement.
- Educate offices on PSF completion, REMS enrollment, prior authorization/appeals, and reimbursement medical policy steps.
- Monitor cases through onboarding and progress.
- Resolve complex access/reimbursement issues (missing info on PSFs/REMS forms, prior authorizations, appeals, denials, letters of medical necessity, REMS).
- Partner with Hub, specialty pharmacy, sales, HCP offices, and REMS administrators to communicate challenges and move patients through the reimbursement process.
- Provide sales-force case status updates (log notes in standardized platform; lead weekly case status meetings).
- Identify regional reimbursement trends and develop quarterly business plans; educate internal and external stakeholders.
Education/Experience Requirements:
- Bachelorβs degree in related field (or equivalent education/experience).
- 5+ years in pharmaceutical/health industry working with Hubs, payers, and/or HCPs.
- 3+ years reimbursement/access/case management experience.
- Specialty pharmaceutical, nephrology, rare disease, and REMS experience preferred.
Skills/Experience:
- Relationship-building with HCPs, office staff, sales, and Hub counterparts.
- Understanding of commercial and government reimbursement (e.g., Medicare Part D, VA).
- Ability to educate on benefit verification, prior authorization, appeals, denials, letters of medical necessity, and pre-determination.
- Basic computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational, multitasking, attention to detail, and communication skills.
- Field-based role: must live in territory or immediate adjacency.
- Travel up to 35%.
- Ability to perform face-to-face work and meet credentialing requirements in territory.

- Target base pay range: $162,000.00β$211,000.00.
