Position Summary:
The Access & Reimbursement Manager (ARM) is a subject matter expert on access & reimbursement for FILSPARI (Sparsentan), working remotely within an assigned geography to provide education and case-specific support to internal and external stakeholders (HCPs and sales force). Preference for candidates near Dayton, OH; Cincinnati, OH; or Indianapolis, IN (anywhere in territory considered).
Responsibilities:
- Serve as key contact for patient access and reimbursement in assigned geography.
- Own FILSPARI onboarding expertise from Patient Start Form (PSF) submission through REMS enrollment to reimbursement.
- Educate provider offices on PSF completion, REMS enrollment, prior authorization/appeal approvals, and steps to obtain reimbursement.
- Monitor cases through onboarding.
- Provide escalated support for complex access issues; educate physicians virtually/in-person.
- Help resolve missing information for PSFs/REMS forms; coordinate with Hub and REMS Administrator partners.
- Resolve access issues (prior authorization, appeals, denials, letters of medical necessity, REMS) and prevent future reimbursement hurdles.
- Partner with specialty pharmacy, sales, HCP office, and REMS administrator to advance patients through reimbursement.
- Lead sales force communication: provide case status updates, log calls/notes in a standardized platform, lead weekly case update meetings, and coordinate with stakeholders.
- Identify reimbursement trends in geography and create quarterly business plans; support HCP education opportunities with sales.
Education/Experience Requirements:
- Bachelorβs degree (related field) required.
- 5+ years in pharmaceutical/health industry working with Hubs, payers, and/or HCPs.
- 3+ years reimbursement/access/case management experience.
- Specialty pharmaceutical, nephrology, rare disease, and REMS experience preferred.
Additional Skills/Experience:
- Ability to manage new-to-market access complexities.
- Prior account management; experience with complex accounts/payer landscape and government payer (e.g., VA) preferred.
- Knowledge of specialty pharmacy products and reimbursement (including buy-and-bill).
- Strong relationship-building with HCPs, office staff, sales, and Hub.
- Comprehensive knowledge of commercial/private and government reimbursement (Medicare Part D, VA, etc.).
- Experience educating on benefit verification, prior authorization, appeals, denials, letters of medical necessity, and pre-determination.
- Basic computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint); strong communication; ability to multitask and prioritize.
- Field-based role: live in territory or immediate adjacency; travel up to 35%.

- Target base pay: $162,000.00 - $211,000.00.
