Position Summary:
The Access & Reimbursement Manager (ARM) is a subject matter expert on access and reimbursement for FILSPARI (Sparsentan), working remotely within their assigned geography to provide education and case-specific support to internal and external stakeholders, including HCPs and the sales force.
Preference for candidates residing in or near Dayton, OH; Cincinnati, OH; or Indianapolis, IN; candidates anywhere within the territory will be considered.

Responsibilities:
- Serve as key contact for patient access and reimbursement in assigned geography.
- Own FILSPARI onboarding expertise from Patient Start Form (PSF) submission through REMS enrollment to reimbursement.
- Educate providers on PSF completion, REMS enrollment, prior authorization/appeals, and reimbursement-related medical policy steps.
- Monitor cases through onboarding; identify and resolve complex access issues.
- Assist with missing PSF/REMS information by coordinating with Hub and REMS Administrator partners.
- Resolve access/reimbursement issues (prior authorization, appeals, denials, letters of medical necessity, REMS) and help prevent future reimbursement hurdles.
- Partner with reimbursement stakeholders to communicate challenges, identify solutions, and move patients through the process.
- Provide sales force updates; log calls/notes in standardized platform; lead weekly case status meetings.
- Coordinate with Hub, specialty pharmacies, and REMS administrators; maintain HIPAA compliance.
- Identify regional reimbursement barriers; create quarterly business plans; educate internal and external stakeholders on payer trends.

Education/Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field required (or equivalent combination).
- 5+ years in pharmaceutical/health industry with Hubs, payers, HCPs, or related area.
- 3+ years reimbursement/access/case management experience.
- Specialty pharmaceutical, nephrology, rare disease, and REMS experience preferred.

Additional Skills/Experience:
- Experience managing access complexities for new-to-market medications.
- Prior account management or complex payer landscape/government payer/VA experience.
- Specialty pharmacy product experience (including buy-and-bill).
- Relationship-building with HCPs, office staff, sales, and Hub.
- Strong understanding of commercial and government reimbursement (e.g., Medicare Part D, VA).
- Ability to educate on benefit verification, prior authorization, appeals, denials, letters of medical necessity, and pre-determination.
- Basic Excel/PowerPoint skills; ability to resolve issues and educate virtually.
- Strong organization, multitasking, collaboration, attention to detail, and verbal/written communication.
- Field-based role: must live in territory or immediate adjacency; travel up to 35%.
- Essential functions include face-to-face work/onsite duties and credentialing to access healthcare facilities/sites within territory.

Compensation:
- Target base pay range: $162,000.00–$211,000.00.
