Position Summary
- Manage governance and execution of J&J Technology Acquisitions & Divestitures (A&D) portfolio (acquisitions, divestitures, licensing deals) through consistent processes and deal artifacts.
- Drive value statements, budgets/financial forecasts, portfolio & resource allocations, milestone attainment, and leadership progress reporting.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration with deal leads/teams; train organization on compliance, consistency, and efficiency.
- Identify and drive A&D improvement opportunities with measurable outcomes; provide reporting and data analytics to articulate deal value.
Major Duties & Responsibilities
- Align business value statements/metrics: performance monitoring, portfolio reviews, status updates, end-state/metrics documentation, OKR/value reporting (Nexus/Polaris).
- Standardize A&D processes/artifacts: planning/execution/closeout framework, RAID/dashboard tracking, data model/templates/playbook/tool enhancements, risk reduction via lessons learned.
- Engage deal leads: escalation pathways, performance assessments, ensure consistent delivery of key artifacts.
- Financials/resources: track costs, manage Fusion deal applications info, forecast/allocate resources for fiscal planning.
- Establish program governance/change management and recurring forums.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelorβs degree (CS/IT/Business/Finance or related).
- 5+ years relevant M&A experience managing acquisitions & divestitures and licensing/investment collaborations; applied program/project management to deliver business outcomes.
- Proven leadership of global IT programs/projects; knowledge of enterprise/sector technology platforms.
Required Skills
- Enterprise portfolio/program reporting tools; cross-functional delivery in matrix environments; integration frameworks (e.g., TIME) and Transition Service Agreements.
- Project management tools + data analytics; financial/business acumen; agile under tight deadlines; strong communication/relationships; handles confidential info; attention to detail.
Preferred
- Masterβs degree.
- Healthcare/life sciences/R&D A&D portfolio experience; PMP preferred.
- Responsible AI practices; ability to adopt AI tools; prompt-generation experience; AI concepts (agentic AI) and collaboration with technical teams.
