Role Summary

The 3rd Shift Production Associate is an integral part of the Manufacturing team based in Omaha, NE, responsible for assisting in multiple aspects of the trace mineral production process to ensure efficient operations and product quality. The role involves ingredient handling, equipment setup and testing, operation of material handling equipment, and maintaining cleanliness in the production area. Safety-conscious, detail-oriented candidates committed to high standards of quality and performance are ideal.

Responsibilities

  • Add the appropriate ingredient and amount to the designated hand add station according to batching software instructions.
  • Operate bag and/or tote packaging equipment.
  • Replenish ingredient delivery systems.
  • Prepare sampling materials for quality control purposes.
  • Operate forklift to facilitate the movement of materials required for production.
  • Inspect, set up, and test equipment including scales, load cells, and magnets.
  • Perform housekeeping and general cleaning duties to ensure plant and employee safety.
  • Take personal responsibility for the safety and quality of assigned tasks.
  • Work effectively as part of a high-performance team to achieve production goals.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and follow instructions.
  • Ability to operate packaging and material handling equipment efficiently.
  • Experience in operating industrial equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks is desired.
  • Physically able to lift 55 lbs. on a continuous basis.
  • Must be able to stand, climb steps, bend, and walk throughout the shift.

Skills

  • Operational proficiency with packaging and material handling equipment.
  • Equipment inspection and testing capabilities (scales, load cells, magnets).
  • Strong teamwork and safety awareness.
  • Effective communication and instruction-following abilities.

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
