      Role Summary
Packaging Specialist on 3rd shift responsible for assembling and packaging OTC pharmaceuticals on an assembly line. The role requires following controlled documents and maintaining quality standards in a dynamic environment.
 Responsibilities
- Follow written instructions contained in Standard Operating Procedures, manufacturing orders, cleaning checklists and other controlled documents in accordance with cGMP regulations.
 - Physically move bulk materials utilizing pallet jacks; perform basic material handling and departmental utility tasks as assigned.
 - Operate computer-controlled equipment using an Operator Interface Terminal (OIT).
 - Execute in-process attribute testing and visual inspections.
 - Evaluate test results against prescribed parameters to determine if tested product is within specification.
 - Document GMP data on equipment logs, batch records and cleaning checklists accurately and consistently.
 - Execute equipment and line cleaning tasks using manual and automated processes and prescribed checklists.
 - Perform minor equipment servicing including disassembly, reassembly, and setup.
 
 Qualifications
- High School diploma or G.E.D.
 - Basic math and English communication skills, legible penmanship, and reading comprehension.
 - Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions.
 - Working knowledge of computers.
 - Must be able to work 40 hours per week and be available for overtime; available for training on various shifts.
 - Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screen.
 - Personal Protective Equipment provided as required.

 Education
- High School diploma or G.E.D.
 
 Additional Requirements
- Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform manual tasks; exposure to allergens as listed.
 - 1–2 years of general manufacturing experience or related roles (preferred).
