Role Summary

3rd shift - Material Handler / Hilo Driver - Holland - $21.00/hr. Perrigo is hiring for Distribution positions focused on operating powered industrial equipment, with shifts that may be 2nd or 3rd. The role involves receiving incoming product, picking customer orders, and loading trucks, with substantial physical activity.

Responsibilities

• Reporting to the Distribution Supervisor; receiving incoming product, picking customer orders, and loading trucks for shipment.
• Operate powered industrial equipment (forklifts, order pickers, dock trucks) and perform substantial physical activity (bending, lifting, twisting).

Qualifications

• Required: High School diploma or GED and excellent attendance/work history.
• Required: Valid driver‚Äôs license or minimum 1 year of motorized forklift or Hilo driving experience.
• Required: Ability to work 40 hours per week with overtime availability; willingness to train on other shifts.
• Required: Core skills within 30 days; basic computer skills; basic math and reading comprehension.
• Required: Commitment to safety, teamwork, quality, and attention to detail; ability to follow directions and SOPs.
• Required: Ability to stand for the length of the shift (approximately 85% of time) with breaks every 2 hours; adequate vision/hearing and coordination; if no valid license, evaluation for vision and other physical requirements.

Skills

• Basic computer proficiency; ability to navigate computer-based training systems.
• Attention to detail; problem-solving related to pallet stacking and loading.
• Effective communication and ability to read and interpret labels and instructions.

Education

• High School diploma or GED required.

Additional Requirements

• Physical demands: stand, walk, lift up to 60 lbs repeatedly; push/pull, bend, squat, twist, reach, grasp, handle items; climb stairs rarely.
• Environmental: exposure to loud noises/machinery.
