Role Summary

3rd shift - Material Handler / Hilo Driver - Holland. Responsible for receiving incoming product, picking customer orders and loading trucks for shipment, and operating powered industrial equipment (forklifts, order pickers, dock trucks). This role involves significant physical activity and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Reporting to the Distribution Supervisor, responsibilities primarily include receiving incoming product, picking customer orders and loading trucks for shipment to customers.
• Operate powered industrial equipment (forklifts, order pickers, dock trucks) and perform substantial physical activity (repetitive bending, lifting, twisting).

Qualifications

• Required: High School diploma or GED; excellent attendance history and work record.
• Required: Valid driver’s license or minimum 1 year of motorized forklift or Hilo driving experience; other driving experience may be considered if no valid license.
• Required: Ability to work 40 hours per week with overtime availability; willingness to train on other shifts.
• Required: Ability to complete core skills within 1 month (30 days); basic computer skills; ability to navigate computer-based training systems; basic math and reading/comprehension skills.
• Required: Understands and values safety, teamwork, quality, and attention to detail; ability to follow directions and Perrigo SOPs.
• Required: Able to stand for the length of the shift (approximately 85% of time); vision/hearing sufficient to read signs and instructions; coordination of eye/hand/feet; if no valid license, evaluation of vision and physical requirements.
