Operations
Scope of the Role
- Receive and organize incoming product
- Pick and prepare customer orders
- Load trucks for outbound shipments
- Operate powered industrial equipment (forklifts, order pickers, dock trucks)
- Perform physical tasks including repetitive bending, lifting, twisting, and moving materials
- Fast-paced, hands-on work where safety, accuracy, and teamwork are essential
- Work around potential allergens (omeprazole, esomeprazole, lansoprazole, pantoprazole, rabeprazole, famotidine, loratadine, guaifenesin, ibuprofen, naproxen, nicotine, natural flavorings)
Experience Required / Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; excellent attendance and work history
- Valid driver’s license OR at least 1 year of motorized forklift/Hilo experience (other driving experience may be considered in lieu of license)
- Ability to work 40 hours/week with overtime when necessary; available to train on other shifts
- Complete core skills within 1 month/30 days; basic computer (point-and-click; training systems) plus basic math and reading/comprehension
- Values safety, teamwork, quality, and attention to detail; follow direction and standard operating procedures
- Ability to stand for shift length; breaks every 2 hours (~85% standing)
- Ability to see, hear, and understand signs/labels/instructions; vision meeting driver’s license requirements; if no license, evaluated for vision/physical requirements; eye/hand/feet coordination
Physical/Environmental
- Frequently/consistently: stand, walk, lift 60 lbs, pull/push 60 lbs, stoop/bend, squat, twist, reach, grasp, move boxes, feel with hands/fingers
- Rarely: climb stairs
- Consistently/frequently: exposure to loud noises/machinery
