Description Overview
- Maintain and troubleshoot mechanical aspects of manufacturing and packaging equipment and facilities per standard operating procedures.
- Complete work orders performing skilled maintenance activities.
- Conduct maintenance, repairs, improvements, set-ups, troubleshooting, follow-up, Root Cause Analysis, and Reliability Maintenance on packaging and compounding equipment; report to supervisor.
- Handle special assignments/projects as directed by Maintenance Supervisor, Master Mechanic, or Manager.
- Work rotational schedules as required and perform overtime when needed.
- Work under little to general supervision; use initiative and independent judgment.

Scope of the Role
- Complete daily Maintenance Tracker and conduct area walk-throughs.
- Perform preventive maintenance for packaging, compounding, and warehouse equipment.
- Repair packaging and compounding equipment (MTCE).
- Train production personnel on proper equipment use.
- Set up, fine-tune, and troubleshoot equipment using Root Cause Analysis methods.

Experience Required
- 5 years hands-on mechanical experience with packaging equipment (pharmaceutical, food, packaging, or similar manufacturing).
- Completed accredited certification program in mechanical engineering/design/troubleshooting, etc.
OR
- 3 years as a Perrigo Set Up Tech plus at least 2 years completed education and active enrollment in a Mechanical/Industrial/Production/Electromechanical Engineering program (accredited).

Computer/Software Qualifications
- Microsoft Office Applications
- SAP
- Automation / ELAU+
- CNC operators experience

Compensation/Benefits
- Starting rate: $29.00/hr (Union position).
