3rd Shift Line Operator

Line Operator (3rd Shift) — Bronx, NY

Scope of the Role
- Check schedule for assigned shop orders; visually check equipment for cleanliness and complete cleaning forms.
- Verify pallet ID; sign Inventory Control logbook; direct pallet placement.
- Update dry-erase board from shop orders; notify Supervisor to verify components.
- Check components vs. Packaging Card and confirm checks by area Supervisor and Q.A.
- Set up for FIFO; stage components on the line.
- Request line supplies; check with mechanic that equipment is set up.
- Load tubes onto filling machine magazine; load boxes onto boxer (as applicable).
- Verify lot numbers/expiration dates vs. Packaging Card; check tube weight.
- Notify Q.A for line release; document activities in Area/Equipment logbook and In-process Control Forms.
- Keep lines/equipment clean; remove PM stickers; clean up spills; destroy empty corrugations.
- Secure documents/inserts/labels in appropriate cages during breaks; keep floors free of soiled materials.
- Request supply replenishment from Inventory Control with Q.A approval.
- Count and record units produced, damages, and destroys; complete IPC (2) and Inventory Reconciliation forms.
- Properly dispose components in garbage bins/waste drums; notify Supervisor of completion and any line problems.

Experience Required
- Fluency in speaking, reading, and writing English.
- High School Diploma or GED.
