Role Summary

2nd shift - Material Handler / Hilo Driver - Holland - $20.50/hr. Distribution role involving operating powered industrial equipment, receiving incoming product, picking customer orders, and loading trucks for shipment.

Responsibilities

• Reporting to the Distribution Supervisor, receive incoming product, pick customer orders, and load trucks for shipment to customers.
• Operate powered industrial equipment (forklifts, order pickers, dock trucks) and perform physical tasks including repetitive bending, lifting, and twisting.

Qualifications

• Required: High School diploma (or GED) and excellent attendance/work history.
• Required: Valid driver‚Äôs license or minimum 1 year of motorized forklift or Hilo driving experience. In some cases, other driving experience may be considered in lieu of a valid license.
• Required: Ability to work 40 hours per week with overtime availability; willing to train on other shifts.
• Required: Ability to complete core skills within 30 days; basic computer skills; math and reading/comprehension skills.
• Required: Safety-minded with emphasis on teamwork, quality, and attention to detail; ability to follow directions and standard operating procedures.
• Required: Ability to stand for the length of the shift (approximately 85% of the time) with breaks every 2 hours.
• Required: Vision and hearing sufficient to understand signs, labels, and instructions; coordination of eyes, hands, and feet. If no valid license, evaluated for vision and other physical requirements.

• Strong safety mindset, teamwork, attention to detail, and ability to interpret information.
• Ability to follow directions, operate equipment, and complete tasks to SOPs.

Education

• High School diploma or GED

Additional Requirements

• Physical: ability to stand/walk for long periods; lift and carry up to 60 lbs; push/pull heavy loads; frequent bending, stooping, squatting, twisting; climb stairs occasionally.
• Environmental: exposure to loud noises/machinery.
