Scope of the Role / Responsibilities:
- Check schedule for assigned shop orders; visually inspect equipment cleanliness and complete cleaning forms.
- Check pallet ID; sign Inventory Control logbook; direct placement of pallets to the line.
- Update dry-erase board with shop-order info; notify Supervisor to verify components.
- Verify components against Packaging Card; ensure setup for FIFO and stage components on the line.
- Request line supplies (paper towels, gloves, sleeves, pens, etc.); check with mechanic that equipment is set up.
- Load tubes onto filling machine magazine; load boxes onto boxer magazine (as applicable).
- Check lot number/expiration date and tube weight vs. Packaging Card.
- Notify QA for line release; document activity in Area/Equipment log book and complete In-process Control Forms.
- Keep lines/equipment clean; remove PM stickers; break up empty tube/box corrugations.
- Protect and secure documents/inserts/labels in appropriate cages during breaks.
- Maintain floor cleanliness (no soiled materials); request supply replenishment and obtain QA approval.
- Count and record units produced, including damages/destroys during PM/lot run; document drums used/emptied and record damages/partial case counts; complete Inventory Reconciliation.
- Properly destroy components into bins/waste drums; notify Supervisor when jobs/orders are complete or if problems occur.
Required Qualifications:
- Fluency in speaking, reading, and writing English.
- High School Diploma or GED.
Compensation/Hours:
- Union position; $17.00/hour. 2:00pmβ10:30pm, MondayβFriday.
