2nd Shift Lead Compounder

Description Overview
- Lead Compounder (2nd shift) — Perrigo facility, Bronx, New York.

Scope of the Role
- Compound batches from copies of master formula and direct operators/compounders.
- Weigh raw materials; monitor batch procedures.
- Set up and operate various kettles and pumps.
- Move materials to and from the compounding/suppository area.
- Sign batch records and make log entries; maintain operating schedule.
- Follow written instructions and all SOPs for MFG/Compounding.
- Complete equipment setup for manufacturing; clean equipment/container/area as needed.
- Cooperate with QA inspectors; follow appropriate cleaning procedures.
- Ensure water requirements are obtained as needed.
- Monitor batches during processing; ensure batches are properly manufactured.
- Review compounders/set-up operators’ work and complete required SOP sign-offs.
- Follow all safety rules, company policies, and procedures.

Experience Required
- One year of compounding experience preferred.
- Ability to read English and sign batch records/log entries after each step.
- Ability to lift materials/equipment weighing 25–50 lbs.
- Ability to wear full/half face respirator.
