2nd shift Hospital Phlebotomist w/Specimen Processing-Fairhope

Role: Laboratory Phlebotomist responsible for specimen collection, patient interaction, and data entry at Thomas Hospital in Fairhope, AL. Objectives: ensure accurate blood collection, specimen processing, and exceptional patient service. Responsibilities: perform venipuncture and capillary draws for all ages, handle specimens for various tests, maintain accurate logs, and process billing; provide customer service and perform administrative duties; travel to additional sites as needed. Requirements: high school diploma or GED, phlebotomy certification or training, or 3+ months experience; proven customer service skills; ability to work independently; pass color blindness test. Preferred: 1+ year of phlebotomy experience. High-Value: focus on clinical specimen collection, patient interaction, data management, and specimen processing within a hospital setting.
