2027 Summer Software, Data & AI Engineering Interns

Role: Software, Data & AI Engineering Intern supporting Alcon’s 2027 Summer Internship Program across multiple U.S. locations. Objectives: contribute to real-world projects, develop technical skills, and support Alcon’s mission to improve vision. Responsibilities: build scalable AI/ML and data pipelines, utilize Python and SQL for data processing, develop software and tools in C# or C++, create AI-ready lab frameworks, and support cybersecurity operations. Requirements: enrolled in an accredited university or college for at least one semester before and after the internship; pursuing a bachelor's degree in computer science, software, data/analytics, AI/ML, IT, or related fields; minimum GPA 2.8/4.0; demonstrated leadership; authorized to work in the U.S.; available for a 10-12 week, full-time summer commitment.
