2027 Summer Software, Data & AI Engineering Interns

Role: Software, Data & AI Engineering Intern supporting Alcon’s innovation projects in eye care. Objectives: contribute to AI/ML, data pipelines, software development, and cybersecurity initiatives to enhance product and laboratory systems. Responsibilities: build scalable data solutions using Python, SQL, cloud-native tech; develop visualization tools with C# or C++; create AI-enabled laboratory frameworks; monitor security alerts and assist incident response. Requirements: enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a bachelor’s in computer science, software, data, AI/ML, or related fields; minimum GPA 2.8/4.0; demonstrated leadership through extracurriculars or projects; authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship; committed to a 10–12-week full-time summer internship.
