2027 Packaging Co-Op (July - Dec)

Packaging Engineering Co-Op (paid, six-month program)

Key Responsibilities:
- Packaging development and testing for new projects
- Develop and execute test protocols
- Identify, select, and specify materials
- Mine data for standardization opportunities
- Identify sustainability and packaging improvement opportunities
- Coordinate and perform independent and team experiments in laboratory and manufacturing plants

Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in university, pursuing a Bachelor’s in Packaging or related field
- Returning to university the semester following the Co-Op
- Expected graduation date between Dec 2027 and June 2029

Preferred Qualifications:
- Excellent problem-solving and written/verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal, leadership, and project management skills
- Proven teamwork, adaptability, innovation, initiative, and integrity
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Strong academic performance

Location/Work Arrangement:
- Work from North Chicago campus (north suburban Chicago) at least three days per week
