Role: Co-op research student in pharmaceutical analysis and digital technology or large molecule analytical departments, focusing on developing and applying analytical methodologies for drug substance and drug product characterization. Objectives include solving challenges in product/process characterization, gaining hands-on experience with instrumentation (mass spectrometry, NMR, chromatography), and supporting small and large molecule pipeline development. Responsibilities encompass experimental execution, accurate documentation, data analysis, and contributing to scientific publications. Requirements: Current enrollment in a Bachelor's, Master’s, or PhD program in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Chemical/Biological Engineering, Materials Science, or Pharmaceutical Science; at least 2 years of study completed by June 2027; full-time availability for 4-6 months starting early to mid-2027; GPA of 3.0+ preferred. Preferred skills include interest in analytical sciences for biologics, vaccines, or small molecules, basic lab skills, and research experience. High-Value: exposure to advanced analytical techniques, working in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment across multiple US locations, with a focus on drug development in biologics and small molecules. Work setup: full-time, 4-6 months, in lab environments at Rahway, NJ; West Point, PA; Boston, MA; or South San Francisco, CA.
