Role: Co-op Scientist in Pharmaceutical Sciences focusing on formulation, drug delivery, and manufacturing process science for oral solid dosage products. Objectives: Support development of new drug formulations through laboratory and pilot plant experiments during a summer/fall internship starting Summer 2027. Responsibilities: execute routine experiments, operate and troubleshoot lab and pilot plant equipment, interpret data, and support manufacturing operations. Qualifications: actively pursuing B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Chemical/Biomedical/Pharmaceutical Sciences (expected graduation no later than June 2028). Skills: basic lab techniques, data analysis, Microsoft Office; preferred experience includes prior lab work, statistical software (JMP, Minitab), and numerical analysis tools (Matlab). High-Value: focus on oral solid drug products, early development stage, with exposure to GMP manufacturing environments. Collaboration: work within a research team, possibly supporting manufacturing. Work Setup: internship, no travel required, no relocation, US and Puerto Rico residents only.
