Role: Support mass spectrometry-based proteomics research within the Neuroscience team as a co-op intern, focusing on sample preparation, DIA data analysis, and workflow optimization. Responsibilities: prepare biological samples, assist with LC-MS/DIA experiments, analyze and quality-check proteomics data using Skyline, EncyclopeDIA, Spectronaut, and contribute to automation of sample-prep workflows. Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams supporting CNS drug discovery and communicate findings clearly. Requirements: enrolled in a BS/BA/PhD in biology, biochemistry, chemistry, bioengineering, neuroscience, or related field, with at least 2 years of coursework completed; full-time availability for 6 months in early to mid-2027; hands-on experience in biology/chemistry lab procedures; foundational knowledge of proteins, peptides, chromatography, MS, and data analysis software. Preferred: coursework or research in proteomics, analytical chemistry, bioinformatics; experience with LC-MS/MS sample prep, DIA analysis, automation platforms like AssayMAP/KingFisher; interest in CNS drug discovery and biomarkers.
