Role: Chemical Biology co-op within Discovery Chemistry focused on drug discovery research. Objectives: gain hands-on experience in tissue processing, multiplexed immunofluorescence, laser microdissection, and proteomics; contribute to understanding molecular mechanisms relevant to pharmaceutical development. Responsibilities: perform FFPE tissue sectioning, staining, operate laser microdissection systems, leverage mass spectrometry for tissue profiling, troubleshoot workflows, and present findings. Requirements: current Ph.D. candidate in Biology, Biophysics, Biochemistry, or Chemical Biology with at least two years of study, proven tissue sectioning and fluorescence imaging skills, and full-time availability for ~6 months starting early/mid-2027. Preferred: proficiency in machine learning image analysis, programming (R, Python), experience with laser microdissection, sample prep for proteomics, and a publication record.
