2027 Future Talent Program – Biocatalysis - Co-op

Role: Research Co-op in Biocatalysis within Small Molecule Process Research & Development, focused on enzyme engineering, biocatalysis, microfluidics, and fermentation to advance drug discovery and development. Responsibilities: conduct laboratory research on enzymatic transformations, protein design, and platform development; solve complex chemistry and biology challenges; contribute to process innovation and data analysis; document findings and present results. Requirements: enrolled sophomore, junior, senior (Bachelor's) or Master's/Ph.D. student in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biological Sciences, Chemical Engineering, Bioengineering, or Material Science; at least two years of study completed by June 2027; available for full-time work for 4-6 months beginning May 2027; US work authorization. Preferred: interest in organic chemistry, enzymology, protein engineering, high-throughput screening, molecular biology, and data analysis; laboratory skills in chromatography, spectroscopy, fermentation, PCR, programming (Python, MATLAB); GPA ≥ 3.0.
