Role: Participate in Merck's Emerging Talent Rotational (ETR) Program within GSMG and GWES, gaining broad exposure across procurement, supplier management, workplace services, and digital strategy over three years. Objectives: Develop foundational skills in sourcing, procurement, project management, and digital insights, supporting innovation and operational excellence worldwide. Responsibilities: Engage in diverse rotations—ranging from research & development sourcing, indirect procurement, and direct materials sourcing to real estate and technology procurement—by supporting strategic initiatives, supplier performance, and process improvements. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or high school diploma with at least 2 years of professional experience; demonstrated leadership, analytical, communication, and adaptability skills. Preferred skills include data analysis, project management, category management, and process design. High-Value: Exposure to global procurement and workplace functions, supporting development of medicines, vaccines, or related products; involvement in innovative digital transformation projects; and work mainly in Pennsylvania and New Jersey offices with flexible hybrid arrangements. Collaboration: Cross-functional interactions across GSMG and GWES; stakeholder engagement from suppliers to internal teams. Work Setup: Hybrid, with location in the US, primarily Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
